Community Involvement in the Recruitment of Health Professionals
Hearst wants to bring a new innovation in the recruitment of its health professionals: the direct involvement of every member of the community. Traditionally, recruitment methods have been job fairs and advertising but the most successful mean of recruitment is the word of mouth.
We now have tools that were not available before with internet - e-mails, Facebook... We are therefore asking that at least 2000 people of the community each inform 10 of their relatives, friends, colleagues that the Foyer des Pionniers Nursing Home is looking for a full-time permanent registered nurse. In a matter of 1 week, at least 20,000 can be touched with this. This is the challenge given to the community for September.

Financial & community incentives are available. New graduates are eligible for tuition reimbursement.
